Most suppliers answer the cloud question before they have heard it, because their commercial model depends on a single answer. We assess each workload on its own terms: capacity, data sensitivity, integration surface, and the cost of operating it over several years. Some workloads belong on the customer's own hardware and others belong in the cloud. The team that makes the recommendation stays with the environment afterward, which is what keeps the recommendation honest.
Servers, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery. Capacity is sized against the workload as it behaves in production, and recovery procedures are tested and documented before any system is allowed to depend on them.
Migration planning and execution, cloud infrastructure built and operated on an ongoing basis, and hybrid designs for environments that keep part of their estate in house. Microsoft 365 and other SaaS platforms are configured, integrated with the directory, and administered under the same support arrangement.
Applications built to requirement and integrated with the systems already in service. Where an existing platform covers most of a need, the engagement is scoped as an integration and we say so before the proposal is written. Where nothing covers it, the application is built.
System administration and support, delivered remotely and onsite, together with the decisions that precede it: what to procure, what to retire, and what belongs in house. Retirement planning is treated as part of the engagement, and the retirement list is written alongside the procurement list.

Digital signage management
Display networks are assembled over several years, from whichever supplier held the contract at the time, and every manufacturer ships a console that administers its own brand and nothing else. Lima administers Samsung, LG, and ViewSonic displays from a single console, including hardware already installed, and covers content, scheduling, device control, and playback reporting. Licensing is per installation and carries no per-screen monthly fee.

A completion record names an employee and states what that employee was required to know, which makes it personnel data in most organizations. Saga delivers the training, grades it on submission, and issues certification automatically, and the records, results, and certificates remain on infrastructure the customer controls. Sign-in is through the corporate directory, with multi-factor authentication that cannot be disabled by any account, including the administrator.

A practice that only advises is never required to live with its advice, and advice that carries no consequence is free to be elegant. We maintain two products in production and under support contracts, which places the same engineers on the other end of an incident and in the meeting where an architecture is chosen. The consulting work keeps those products in real production environments, and the products demonstrate that the team builds and supports software of its own.
