IT consulting

We plan, build, and run infrastructure.

Most suppliers answer the cloud question before hearing it, because their business model depends on one answer. We look at each workload on its own terms: capacity, data sensitivity, integrations, and the cost of running it for several years. Some workloads belong on your own hardware, others in the cloud. The team that makes the recommendation stays to run the result, which keeps the recommendation honest.

Infrastructure and virtualization

Servers, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery. We size capacity by how the workload actually behaves in production, and we test and document recovery before any system depends on it.

Cloud and hybrid

We plan and carry out cloud migrations, and we keep running the cloud infrastructure we build. For environments that keep part of their estate in house, we design hybrid setups. We also set up and run Microsoft 365 and other SaaS platforms, connected to the directory, under the same support.

Software development

We build applications to requirement and connect them to the systems already in service. If an existing platform covers most of the need, we say so before writing a proposal and scope the work as an integration. If nothing covers it, we build it.

Consulting and operational support

We run and support systems, remotely and onsite, and help with the decisions that come first: what to buy, what to retire, and what to keep in house. We write the retirement list alongside the procurement list.

Two products we build ourselves.

Our consulting team builds and maintains both products. Lima runs mainly as a cloud subscription and also on your own server. Saga is installed in your own environment. The technical detail is on each product's own site.

Lima

Digital signage management

Display networks grow over years, with screens bought from whichever supplier held the contract, and every manufacturer ships a console for its own brand only. Lima runs Samsung, LG, ViewSonic, and Android displays, including those already installed, from one console: content, scheduling, and playback reports. It comes as a cloud subscription hosted in your compliance location, or on your own server under a per-installation license, where it also controls the devices.

Saga

Training, assessment, and certification

A completion record names an employee and what they had to know, which makes it personnel data in most organizations. Saga runs the training, grades answers on submission, and issues certificates automatically, and the records stay on infrastructure you control. Staff sign in through the corporate directory, and no account, administrator included, can switch off multi-factor authentication.

Structure

Products and practice in one company.

A firm that only advises never has to live with its advice. We run two products in production under support contracts, so the engineers who answer an incident are the ones who chose the architecture. Our consulting keeps the products in real production environments, and the products show that we build and support software of our own.
